Trip to Tiburon

I drove up to the bay area today to meet with the other Outhinkers in Tiburon and plan next steps for Ourmedia, SpinXpress and Bid4Vid. We took a break in the evening to get a bite to eat and a few tequila shots. Barely time left today for a Videoblogging Week 2008 video, so here’s a short taste from our dinner with fellow twitter friends Dave Toole (musicality), Eric Zimmerman (ezwrighter) and Chris Ritke (critke).

Mocha

Mocha at Zoey’s in Ventura. A few of us video bloggers and photo bloggers got together for a great little meetup in old town Ventura. It turned out that The Ungerground cafe closed early for the holidays and we mosied on down to Zoey’s which also had great wireless and a whole bunch of bluegrass music. Here’s one of the Mochas I got. Then I showed my friends how to upload this video to Blip.TV. Too cool.
Alex Williams Comes To Ojai

This weekend I finally got to meet Alex Williams. He came to Ojai to do some podcasting and videoblogging at an investment conference/seminar held here at the Ojai Valley Inn. Alex asked me to give him a hand with the video. I took a quick photo with my iPAQ as he was working. Great fun. We even got fed (thanks!).
Alex is the guy who got me set up with the video conferences and it was great to finally meet him in person, hang and work together (he’s the one with the digital recorder in the pic). Alex and I are also doing some work together for the Podcast Hotel event in September in Portland. We are using SpinXpress to create online "rooms" for the hotel using "SpinFeeds". Cool stuff and I’ll share more info on that over the next few weeks.
