Here’s a short (4 min) excursion down into one of San Francisco’s subway systems, BART. The Bay Area Rapid Transit system connects much of the Bay Area and is probably the best way to get into the city from the airports.

We’re in San Francisco now and every day presents new wonders. Today was something else. I had the fortune of getting together with some folks from Yahoo!, SFSU, OurMedia and Outhink. I can’t even begin to share what we are talking about except to say it’s very exciting and has great potential for the Videoblogging community. Right as we were really getting down to some interesting talks, we realized that we were being overwhelmed by the sound of drums. This is the sort of thing that happens here and you’d better be prepared if you want to capture things like this.
Tommorrow is Friday and the Vloggercon Volunteer meetup. It will be good to see everyone again. I can’t wait to see you in two weeks. Yeah, you.

Around the same time, I was cruising the archive when I found this strange little gem and so it seemed natural to include in this video.
Some people say "sex sells" or "it’s just for a laugh". Here’s an example that turns that on it’s head and shows how "racism sells" too. And what is it selling? Why sex, of course.

James Boyle, William Neal Reynolds Professor of Law and Faculty Co-Director of the Center for the Study of the Public Domain at Duke Law School, sees several possibilites, but is not optimistic. Here is a short video snippet from the question and answer part of his keynote speech at
the Beyond Broadcast 2006 conference last Friday and Saturday, May 12-13 at Harvard’s Berkman Center. I captured this from the live conference video stream using SnapX Pro.

Here’s a picture of Yahoo! Videoblogging Group co-founder Jay Dedman participating in one of the many discussions.
